⚡ 30-second start

1. Open the app and tap DEC for decimal ledger mode (default).
2. Select column 1–16 at the bottom (highlight = active), enter text or numbers, tap Save.
3. To dictate: tap the green AI button (bottom-right) or ⓘ → Voice AI. Default is dictation—speech is appended, not replaced.
4. For Chinese notes: tap ⌨ in the header, then Save.
5. Tap ⓘ (top-left) for version, language, manual, updates, and license.

📱 Three UI layouts (DEC mode)

In the middle ~35%–65% of the screen height, swipe left / right to cycle layouts (see footer hint):

Classic

• Large DEC display, 4-column cache at bottom, full header tools.
• ⌨ text keyboard in header; Translate hidden in classic DEC to save space.
• Best for daily ledger + large digits + all 4 columns visible.

Simple

• 4-column cache + large DEC, cleaner UI, fewer scientific keys.
• Focused bookkeeping with less clutter.

Minimal

• BIN / HEX registers visible, compact DEC, no bottom 4-column panel.
• After selecting a column, a row appears above the keypad: Clear / Avg / Sum / Import / Export / Save.
• For users who need base switching and quick saves to one column.

🧮 Programmer calculator (BIN / DEC / HEX)

• Tap BIN, DEC, HEX to switch input base; DEC is decimal ledger mode.
• BYTE / WORD / DWORD / QWORD sets bit width (8–64 bit) for BIN/HEX display and bit ops.
• Non-DEC: ~ & | ^ << >> bit operations for embedded, networking, RE work.
• Status under DEC shows base, width, and precision (12 decimal places)—localized with UI language.
• 🔊 toggles key click sounds.

📋 16-column line cache (DEC core)

Upgraded from 4 to 16 columns; existing data migrates automatically. Default labels include Phone A–D, Income, Expense, Schedule, Family archive, Photo picks, Reminders, etc.—rename via column header.

Rules

• 16 independent columns: 1000 lines/column during trial or with license; 10 lines/column after trial ends without activation. Max 8000 characters/line.
• Column 4 header shows global stats; footer shows selected column sum/count.
• Select a column (highlight) → Save or ↵ newline writes a new line.
• New lines store a save timestamp; list view hides time—double-tap a line to see Saved: YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss.
• Double-tap to edit → Save changes; × delete asks confirmation.
• Double-tap column blank area (not on a line) to zoom the whole column.

Sum / average

• Operates on the selected column, parsing numbers from each line.
• If line has = and left evaluates equal to right → use right (e.g. 12+18=30 counts 30).
• Otherwise use left expression result (e.g. 12*2 → 24).
• Ledger style: cabbage30*5=150; use * or ×.
• Sum / Avg puts result in the DEC display.

Clear

• Clear: deletes all lines in the current column (confirmation required).

⌨ Text input (header keyboard icon)

• ⌨ in DEC mode toggles numeric keypad vs text input.
• First tap: Chinese text mode—edit below HEX or in the register area.
• Second tap (text mode): symbol keyboard (punctuation); icon highlights blue.
• Third tap: back to numeric keypad.
• For English, use the system English keyboard; text fields ~2000 chars max.
• Bottom columns may hide during text edit; saves still go to the selected column.

• CSV exported by this app, Excel (xlsx), etc. One table row → one cache line; cells Tab-separated.
• CSV format: Col,Content (columns 1–4); legacy header Col,No,Time,Content supported.

On-device scan · camera (free)

• Google ML Kit OCR, works offline—printed labels, tables, lists.
• Preview, edit, then write lines to the current column.

Photo → table · camera / gallery (JL/JS license)

• Shoot a paper table → cloud builds an Excel attachment as one cache line; double-tap to open/share.
• For whole purchase/inventory sheets, not split text lines.

Photo → text · camera / gallery (JV tier-3)

• Cloud vision for handwritten lists, better than on-device OCR.
• Preview by line, then import.

Export

• UTF-8 CSV (Col,Content), dated filename; open in Excel / WPS and re-import.
• Export regularly before device changes.

🎙 AI voice

Two modes (toggle above AI button)

• Dictation (default): appends speech to input—ledger, email, translate fields.
• Ask AI: chat with assistant, spoken replies; math Q&A, general questions.

How to use

• Green AI FAB: tap to start/stop; drag ⋯ handle to move; snap to edge to half-hide.
• Drag to header area to dock; then tap header AI (same as ⓘ → Voice AI).
• Translate/email screens force dictation so you don’t enter chat mode by mistake.
• Dictation goes to selected DEC column input; Ask AI may fill calculator for arithmetic.

Translate · Chinese ↔ English

• Header 译 opens translate panel (may be hidden in classic DEC—try simple layout).
• Type, voice dictation, photo OCR, or gallery.
• Select Chinese or English box first, then speak—text appends and auto-translates.
• ↵ Save to cache stores selection in the active column.

✉ Email manager

• 163 / 126 / QQ via IMAP app password (not login password).
• Inbox / sent / drafts; read and delete.
• When composing, focus To/Subject/Body, then dictate with AI.
• 163 missing mail: web mail → settings → POP3/IMAP → “fetch all”; refresh in app.

💳 Quick pay & receive QR

For vendors and shops—swipe up in the middle of the screen after calculating; no need to leave the app for WeChat/Alipay receive codes.

Setup

1. Swipe up → Receive settings → upload your WeChat and/or Alipay personal receive QR images.
2. Enable Swipe direct to receive to skip the menu (fastest for market stalls).
3. Optional: show DEC calculator amount on full-screen QR; dual QR (WeChat + Alipay stacked).

Also available

• Scan / WeChat scan / Alipay pay shortcuts on the receive screen footer.
• QR images stay on device only—not uploaded to the server.

Switch to Dictation, not Ask AI. Translate/email force dictation.

Not shown in the list—double-tap the line. Older lines may show “—”.

Chinese text after switching to English?

Update to latest app; ⓘ → Language refreshes hints. Your own notes and email body are not auto-translated.

Few emails in 163?

Update app; enable “fetch all mail” on web; pull to refresh.

Import garbled?

Use CSV exported by this app; xlsx for Excel; UTF-8 for plain CSV.

Photo→table failed?

Check JL/JS license, network, latest app and server.

AI button missing?
